Today we hear the announcement of huge job losses looming at Cheltenham & Gloucester, the High Street brand owned by the Lloyds Banking Group.

All branches will be closed with 833 full time redundancies. Also offices will shut with at least 265 further job losses.

It is expected the total could reach over 1500 job cuts in total.
