The ITV is to make "significant" savings by making 600 job cuts. 150 redundancies will be made in Leeds. Advertising revenue has declined during the economic downturn and the company commented that conditions are the worse for 30 years.

ITV lost £2.7bn during 2008 and 2009 is already 17% down on Q1 2008.
