Shock news has just come in of 4000 job losses at Nokia - many from Nokia UK. Nokia, the once dominant mobile phone manufacturer has been struggling to keep up with innovation from Apple, windows mobile and Android devices.

Nokia recently announced that it was to adopt the windows OS for mobile devices in a move to re-capture ground on it's competitors but it comes too late for 4000 staff.

Figures of the cuts in respective countries are to follow.
