1100 Barlaston jobs at risk as WEDGWOOD move to adminstration

WEDGEWOOD, based in stoke on Trent is looking to call in the receivers as it fails to find additional investment. A buyer is being sought for the company and if sold as an on-going concern.

The company is famous worldwide for it's Wedgewood pottery, Royal Doulton and Waterford Crystal.

The administrators have announced 367 workers are to lose their jobs. In the meantime they are in discussion with KPS of America about a possible sale.
