JA Magson Limited has been closed by it's receivers who have blamed the slump in demand for toys.
The company who has traded for 79 years cut it's workforce in half earlier 2008.
Administrators, Leonard Curtis had been trying to find a buyer for the business.
Despite having a 10 month turnover to October £20.2m the company couldn't be saved.
