RBS today announced a further 3700 job cuts across it's branch network. The Bank is hoping to achieve the job cuts through voluntary redundancies.

The move is a cost cutting exercise as the bank's management claim the organisation of overstaffed in it's present form. In the meantime, the union labelled the news as madness.
