"Difficult times" are blamed for huge redundancies at Drinks giant Diageo.

Port Dunas distillery in Glasgow and a plant in Kilmarnock will be closed as part of the cost cutting exercise.

Diageo has said that it will expand a packaging plant in Fife, creating 400 jobs.
