Hi,
Our office has been informed that there is a full review of salaries and we can all expect salary cuts. These will come into effect on the 1st June and we have been told that there is no room for negotiation - we either accept or we don't. Unfortunately the manager who told us this simply said it, he didn't put it in an email.
We will receive our individual information in meetings next week, as well as the information about our reduced salaries etc in writing.
Enforcing new changes on the 1st June seems a little soon, especially as we don't know any details yet - can they do this? Additionally, what are my options if the contract terms are unacceptable?
Any help would be appreciated!
thanks!
Joseph
