Hi, and thanks for reading my post, i hope it makes sense.

I got made redundant on the 1st May.

2 days before i had and interview for another job. I said nothing about the possibility of redundancy.

A week later i had a 2nd interview and they offered me the position to which i have the contract and start 1st June. However i mentioned nothing about my redundancy at the 2nd interview either.

The company i was made reduntant from have advised in my reference that the reason i left was redundancy!

My worries are i told a few prokies with reference to gardening leave and handing my notice in.

Will my new employer look at this as me been dishonest and terminate my contract?

I feel bad i have lied and only did it as i was embarassed, also thinking i would not get the job if i told the truth as this would contradict what i said in the 1st interview.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
