Hi
Hope you can help
I am due to be made redundant at the end of May
Unfortunately there are not any Permanent positions in another department that i could take but there is a TEMP role which my old boss (i used to work for him before i moved department) said he would let me have
The TEMP role is a completely different role to what i was made redundant from as ( the redundant role is being completely closed down)
My questions is if i take the TEMP role will i be liable to pay tax on my redundancy settlement?
Look forward to hearing from someone on this as the answer seems to vary from people to people
Thanks
Redundant then re-employment as a TEMP with same company
