During Consultation - Day 52 - my employer has suddenly offered an enhanced package with the proviso that I only have a 3 day deadline to accept it and sign a compromise agreement after which the offer is withdrawn. I am thinking of accepting in principle but I cannot see me being able to complete my discussions with HR, carry out my solicitor meeting and signing the agreement in 3 days. Is this a case of my employer being unreasonable or a tactic to rush me into a decision? There are 84 employees in the pool and we are all in the same dilemma. So if I accept in principle what are my rights if I cannot meet their deadline and the offer disappears.
