Hi I work part time and me and several collegues are being made redundant.
they have offered us one full time and one part time job as suitable employment but we want them to change the posts to 2 part time posts with the same number of combined hours so I can apply with another collegue and we dont have to compete against each other. Can we insist that they do?
can I make them change terms on offer

Hi
As part of your redundnacy consultation period, your employer should be considering ways to avoid making the redundancies and exploring suggestions that you may have.
You should put your proposal for the hours to be shared among part time roles as an alternative to redundancy, to your employer for their consideration.Clara Buckingham
