Hi
I am a 61 year old woman and have worked for my empolyer for 14 years, I have recently been made redundant.
Am I entitled to pay in lieu of notice? I have been advised by the Insolvency company acting on behalf of my empolyer to register as unemployed in order to protect any pay I am entitled to, however I am unable to do this as am over 60, I am concerned I may loose my pay because I have not been able to register as unemployed.
I was going to retire at 65, but have decided to do so now but obviously still want any money I am entitled to.
Can you advise me on this?
Thanks
Beth.
