Temp to permanent then redundant I worked for this company as a temp from 05/09/07 till around six months ago when I was given a permanent contract. I started as a temp then went to a rolling contract (3 month) for several months. I have just been given notice of redundancy as from 17/04/09. There are only 2 of us in the firm fully experienced to do the job. I have only been given one weeks notice of the redundancy. There is still work there for me to do and the other person is on a different stage of the production line and could not be taken off there to do the job. Can they make me redundant with work still outstanding? Also should I be entitled to redundancy payment?
