changes to law? I really need some advise please. My husband was asked to go in for a training course today, and when he got there his boss asked him if he could have a chat. He walked in to the room where a personnel manager was also there, and within 5 minutes had been given a letter stating that he had been made redundant, and that his ermination date is Friday. They are giving him the statuatory sum and 3 months wages, but he has no warning whatsoever. I know that there was a change in the law today, is this now the way that companies can behave?
