    Default Redundancy-Pre Selection

I believe that I have been pre selected for redundancy even though the consultation period has not started.

If I could prove that I have been pre selected and that the consultation period and subsequent selection criteria scoring was a sham what would be the procedure ?

What area of employment law would this fall under? Unfair dismissal or another?

    Many thanks in advance.
    David.

    Default Advice Received

I have now received some advice on this matter and thought I would share it.

This would be a case of unfair dismissal.

Yes as a consultation period has to be "genuine" ie they havent made their mind up before they enter into it. If you have emails or letters referring to "when you leave" use them
