I am going through the redundancy process, last week I had my fifth meeting where I presented my manager with reasons why they should keep me and how my position could be more profitable for the company. I was supposed to have another meeting the same afternoon with his responses but was called into his office where he said he could not answer my comments as they negated all the reasons for the redundancy notice (I had no witness to this) and deferred the meeting until today.
Today I was told that my redundancy was being postponed until I could show how my ideas will work over two weeks and then they would reconsider. Is this a normal process in redundancy and if so, if it is resumed will the process carry on from where we are now or will it start all over again?
