I started working for a Bank as a self employed (not Ltd company) consutant and after 3 years they offered me employment which I took. They have just said my job is at risk.
There was no break between self-employed and employed although just after I took employment they began to enforce a weeks break where the persons computer account, id card etc were completely deleted ant reatsarted as an employee.
In my case I went home on one day self-employed and came in the next as an employee - nothingn chaged - not even my HR number
I am sure I have seen somewhere a case where it was deemed that all this period counted towards redundancy period - can anyone help?
