I have recently been advised that i have been provisionally selected for redundancy & that im now entering into a further consultation period. The company i work for have offered other available jobs which would mean re-locating. My redundancy selection was based on points scoring to which i was highly scored. There was four of us in total up for redundancy, two full time and tow part time. One of the part time members of staff is on maternity leave at the moment, her job role does not exist anymore as it has been taken over by computer system. the other part time member of staff has been on the sick four five weeks. I think choosing myself for redundancy was unfair. Can anyone please advise as to wether i have a good case to appeal & also when i can appeal from. i have my final meeting on friday 27th March 2009.
