Length of service Hi, I have just recieved my at risk letter and need a bit of advice, I am a team leader and we have 2 other team leaders who are not affected, I was the first to get the role of team leader but the other 2 have been there longer than me, does this make a difference to the length of service with it being a new job title, any help in this matter would be appreciated

Temping years counted as Continuous Service? I've worked as a permie for 5 years, but was on a temporary contract prior to this. The temp contracts were all 3 month in duration & ran continuously from the start of my time until I joined as a permie. The full duration of the temp period was in excess of 2 and a half years. I didn't even take a day off in between contracts, nor when going permie. Should my temping/contracting years be counted in my continuous service?

Today they said my appeal was successful but they want me to change locati ns and not return to the store where I previuosly worked. The manager who had originally assessed me was very vindictive anbd I also put in greviences. where do I go next, I work in retail can they make me change stores

Unfair? Hi there,
I hope you can help. My company are restructuring there are junior, middle and senior team leaders. They are getting rid of the middle level. They are putting a junior role in place of mine they haven't offered me this junior role they are moving someone into it who was on probation and only been there 6 weeks when the redundancy at risk letter came out. The job descriptions are the same but the junior buyer is allowed guidance.
It affects me and 2 others who were both on maternity leave. I have been there 11 months but have not been issued notice yet so my 4 weeks notice will take me over 1 year.
Do you think i've got a case for unfair dismissal??
Thanks for your help.

Pilot + TUP = Redundancy Hi
I'm a pilot flying a private Exec Jet. I was employed 2 years back by a management company to specifically fly an aircraft for a private owner. That contract went to tender and a new management company won. I have just met my new employer (on day one) who has been required to take me on under TUPE to be immediately informed that he has to make a pilot redundant i.e probably me.
The new management company will now run 2 aircraft (each require 2 pilots to fly) of the same type and intend to employ only 3 pilots and use freelancers to fill the gaps. Can they make me redundant and then employ freelance pilots to save money? Can they make me redundant under TUPE rules?

How do I get out of this?
Scenario
I have just accepted a job and during my 4 week trial period, I decide I really don't like it or want it anymore. I would like to take my redundancy instead.
What you be some good reasons that my employer cannot question?
