Advised of selection for redundancy in a pool of 9 others , we had our initial consultation last week which was based on our performances over our length of service , no performance issues in 3 years and appraisals always between good and excellent .Score was nt given , but was advised l was one of 4 selected for redundancy . As my job role is unique in the compant l asked if the role was not going to exist after my redundancy period advised the role would still exist and l may have to train someone else to take the role over before l leave.
