Hi,
I wonder if someone could help please. I was made redundant about 5 weeks ago. I am working my notice and this is my last week. I was told that I was made redundant because there was no requirement for a part-time position anymore. I am the only one being made redundant from my department and the only one who works part-time. There was no offer of an alternative position.
I have now found that they have advertised a full-time position on a job website (posted on Friday) and was wondering if a) is this legal after they have made redundancies and b) they should've offered me this position?
I guess that following on from this, my next question would be, if they had offered it to me now after working 5 weeks of my notice would I be able to not accept it without loosing out on any redundancy pay?
Thanks in advance.
