Hi
I am Charlie I was made redundant from a full time post two and a half months ago (I was five months pregnant at the time) I have subsequently heard that my company have increased the saturday girls hours who was never at threat of redundancy to include wednesday afternoons and they are also bringing back old leavers for additional hours during the week as well.
I only have a few days before a claim for unfair dismissal will be out of time do I have a claim?

Employer brought in new staff

Dear Charlie
I would suggest that you write and ask to be considered for the alternative work on the basis that the work has been offered to leavers.
Regretfully you do not say why you were selected for redundancy or if you were given the right of appeal.
It is now a long way past your redundancy but if you believe that your selection was unfair and that they have not contacted you to offer you some work, whether it is full or part time, then you should include this.
If you believe that you have been unfairly selected on this basis then there is no harm in putting your case to an ET.
I am sorry we are unable to give more advice which is difficult without the full picture, but hope this has helped.
Best wishes
Carol
