Hi,
I'm work for a large multi national company who are planning to make circa 2,000 redundancies this year in their London office where I am based.
We have just finished the 90 day consultation period with employee reps and our area has been told that we will be required to reapply for our current positions sometime over the next 3 months.
If I am one of the unlucky ones who is not 'rehired' and I am therefore put on consultation, do the company have to give me as an individual 30 days consultation period or is that overruled by the 90 days official period that has just ended? If not how long do they need to give me to try to find another role internally?
Thanks in advance for your help.
