Hi There.
I'm in the process of helping out with represenations in the consultation stage of some colleagues who have been informed their positions may be made redundant.
The situation as they understand it is that their respective tasks and job descriptions are being combined to make one job, which one of them will be offered. The other two will be dismissed by reason of redundancy
My question is, are the positions truly redundant if the total workload is being shifted onto one remaining person.
This is in an office, and all three current positions are admin based.
Many thanks.

Also, for individual consultations (i.e. less than 20 people) is there a statutory duty to disclose information such as selection criteria , details of redundancy calculations etc, as there is under TULRCA 1992 for collective redundancies?
