I was put on risk of redundancy as a senior Administrator and so was the administrator in the office. We were told, in writing, that both positions were proposed to be made redundant. i was called to my meeting and told I was redundant but when my colleague was called she was told her position was safe as they still needed an administrator in the office. The administrator was primarily taken on to support me in my role and so I could delegate the work to her. I am 6 weeks into my maternity leave. Can you give me some advice please as I feel that there is something very wrong in what has been done.
