Hi there,
I am being made redundant in April.
As far as I am aware, all the correct steps have been taken re, consultation and notice period.
My contract states that I will receive statutory a payment, and "a sum representing 1 month's payment of salary for each year or part of a year worked".
The statutory payment has been calculated correctly.
I have worked for 4Y 5M 10D, does this mean I will receive 5 X 1 months salary, or 4.45(roughly)?
Also, I started on 1st Nov 2004, but my contract is dated from 1st Feb 2006.
Do they have to pay me from 2004 ( I have wage slips from this date)
Or will they just pay with the dates from the contract.
I hope this makes sense to you
Thank you in advance
Steve
