Default Redundancy Pay... notice period should takes me 2 days over 2 years

Hi I am awaiting my redundancy notice date after my second consultation. I been told it should come in next week some time. At the moment I am 1 month away from doing 2 years at the company...

My question is if my redundancy notice date which is specified as 30 days by the employer (however I don't have to work during this period once it giving) goes a day over my 2 years... Am I entitled to redundancy pay?

    Thanks in advance

It depends - are you on gardening leave or are you being paid PILON?

PILON I think. They just said I won't be required to work notice if I have no outstanding work to complete

You need to be clear. PILON is pay in lieu of notice, hence you don't have any notice, hence your termination date is the last day you work.

Yes Payment in lieu of contractual notice period which is a month. I actually have not received to notice yet and started on March 2nd 2010 so I will actually def will go over 2 years when I receive it

It doesn't matter what the contractual notice is - what matters is what your termination date is. If you get PILON then you don't have any notice - PILON is instead of notice.
