I have drafted a letter, i guess im asking if this is informal enough not to sour relations in you opinion, but to have some sort of legal safe guard for 4 weeks at least?
Dear @@@
Due to not receiving any written details of the offered alternative employment, I would like to summarise my interpretation of the offer.
Option 1 you are dismissing from the post of Electrical Estimator as from 31.01.2012 for the reason of redundancy. And have offered me 3 weeks redundancy pay at £400 per week total £1200, and a (PILON) payment for 1 months’ notice not to be worked.
Option 2 an offer of Employment within the company as an Electrician. Starting on 01.02.2012 paying £13.22 hour, weekly paid, including a company Van.
I would like to express, I do not accept this as a suitable alternative to my current position, but I am willing to try a 4 week trial period in the position as an Electrician.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the support.
Many Thanks
redeployment and notice
