only me being made redundant!!!

Hi hope people can help

There are 3 in my team - 1 manager and 1 other consultant on the same level as me.

I have been told that i am up for redundancy and that i have to justify my position during the consultation period.

Howver my question relates to the fact that the other consultant is not being asked this or put on consultation!!! only me????

How can they only make my position redundant when we do the same job.

An employer should firstly identify the selection pool for redundancy. If you and your colleague are performing the same role, they should be included in the pool for redundancy.

I would advise that you question as to why you have been selected and your colleague has not.
