Hi,

I have been informed that my job is 'at risk' and my dept is being outsoursed. Consultancy period etc has ended.

I'm on 3 months notice and have been given an indicative time of leaving of end of June, but nothing in writing. My concern is that the outsoursing project will slip and I won't be given notice until much later than this.

As people leave my job is getting more and more difficult and I am very keen to get an actual date so I can decide whether to do the hours to get the redundancy or whether to just resign now (I haven't been there long so the pay-out is not a lot).

How long can my employer keep me hanging on before they have to give me a date?
