Default A month to go and sickness

    Hi

I have been informed my last working day will be the 31/01/12.

My company has offered statutory redundancy and 3 months lieu of notice for feb mar and apr.

My question is as there is no enhanced package, what would be the case if I went on the sick for january.

As a note I also have a disability and can be off at any point with it.

    Thanks

Just so we are clear about what it is you are asking - you aren't sick but you plan to be sick in January, although you can't possibly know that you will be sick in advance. And you want to trade on the fact that you have a disability so that nobody can question the fact that you are suddenly "sick"?

And you would like us to collude with you in lying to your employer?

    I think not.

Personally I would recommend against it. Disabled or not - a month's sick leave won't look good to the next potential employer. Don't you have enough problems without creating yourself some new ones???
