Hi
I have worked for my employer for 27 years. there are 15 of us. Two years ago the company which was privately owned sold out to a multinational, we retained our contracts and trading name. On 3rd June we were told that the company is in consultation on shutting down
and that I am at risk of redundancy. Since then I have been told there may be a different job for me at another company owned by the
same parent group if my skills match and I am considered suitable. I would have a new contract but my service would be classed as continuous. ACAS have told me I would be entitled to a PILON payment for 12 weeks as I have not been given notice. HR say this is not
correct could you offer me any advice please.

Change of Contract PILON payment

ACAS appear, yet again, on the face of what you are syaing, to be talking s**t. Why would you be entitled to anything for not being made redundant?
