Default Help required regarding redundancy matrix error .

Hi , I'm looking for some information regarding my redundancy situation and I would be very grateful of any help.

I was told nearly 3 weeks ago that there would be a 2 week consultation period and that the company were looking for candidates for voluntary redundancy and that the yard were i worked was being closed and that 1 position was available at a nearby yard , as far as I am aware someone was refused voluntary redundancy because to quote " to lose this persons skill set would be detrimental to the company " so we were told that a redundancy matrix was to be used and this is were I have the problem as it appears that they have scored someone incorrectly thus meaning that I will be made redundant , the reason I know that they have scored incorrectly is that the other chap came out from his meeting and stated that they had gave him a higher score for a skill he didnt have but he didnt declare this to the people holding the meeting , he has know had a letter saying he still has a job , I have a letter saying that I came out bottom in the matrix and still under threat of redundancy , where do i go from here ? Thanks in advance .

Some lessons in grammar would be an excceelent place to go Seriously, this may be short but with not a single full stop it is very difficult to read!

You have to appeal the scoring - but it is difficult because you are not entitled to know what his score is, so even though he may have told you this, you may find it hard to evidence.
