Can i ask my employer to make me redundant?

Can i ask my employer to make me redundant? I work for a company that has just dismised my manager so i am unable to do my job until the replace him. The company has asked me to atten a different site until further notice, this is inconvienant for me so can i ask them to make me redundant?

No, of course you can't. Your job still exists.
