hi all -
i have been with the company i am with for over 12 years and the company wants to make a percentage of the work force redundant -
i have been through a consultation process and been given a notice of dismisal plus a leaving date - also know my redundancy package - i am at present working my notice -
my questions are - the company is still trading and solvent who is liable for the redundancy payment - the company or the state
i am working my notice and getting notice pay, who is paying that as under the redundancy rules i dont work for the company anymore as i was dismissed in december -
the company is a ltd company-
thanks for any replies - bodmin

You are still employed by the company if you are working your notice period and they are responsible for your redundancy pay and all other pay.
