I work for a company called 118 Media, they have recently announced a 90 day consulation for employee's of 118118, (about 150 employees effected), they have also included employees of 118 Media Ltd (we are a sister company), however I questioned that shouldn't we have our own seperate process given we are a seperate ltd company?

They advised that because we are on 118118 contracts (which we are) it doesn't matter that we "work" for 118 Media Ltd? Is that right?
