I am now in a second period of sickness in the last 14 months....I had a motorway car accident in april...i was off for a month....i have had anxiety & panic attacks since & have been diagnosed with depression. I had had these issues in the past but they hadnt reared their head for quite a while...I'm now being sent for an independant medical assessment...Ive been with the bank more than 7 years... am likely to be a cheap sacking? Afterall its cheaper to lay someone off on capability issues than to pay 7+ yrs of redundancy money.
