My wife works in the NHS. The funding for her position finishes at the end of September (it has been brought forward from March).
She is effectively under notice of redundancy from 30th September but the NHS want her to take another job which she fields is unsuitable.
So she doesn't know if she will be redundant, but they now say she has to take her remaining annual holiday before the end of September because there is no funding to pay it in lieu.
Is this something they can do, because it means she will have to finish on 7th September, not knowing whether she will be redundant or what...
