Default Help, I've been made redundant

I hope someone can answer my questions as I'm struggling to find a definite answer to my questions and I just seem to be going round and round in circles.

On July 2nd 2010 I was called into the office at 3.30pm and told the company had gone into liquidation that day and from now on we cannot buy diesel on the fuel cards or order materials (construction industry) I was given a booklet from the person appointed as the liquidator but when I called him to clarify some points I never got a straight answer so I hope someone here can help:

    1) My last pay day way May 28th 2010 and my boss informs me that I'll be able to claim Junes wages through my national insurance contributions but I believe this is capped at £380 could someone confirm this?

    2) My boss also said that any outstanding holiday will be paid, but again is this capped at £380 per week?

    3) I've been with the company for 9 years and as I understand it I will be entitled to 1 weeks wage per year I've been there but capped at £380 - is this correct?

    4) I read in the booklet that I may be entitled to compensation notice pay for up to 8 weeks, when I asked the liquidator he said ' I presume so' and said that the most I would be able to claim is 8 weeks pay capped at £380 is that correct?

The way I thought it would be is I could claim for Junes wages, and then claim compensation from the 2nd of July for lack of notice - I understand job seekers allowance is deducted from this.

The company is allowed to trade until the 20th July and we have been asked to carry on working to finish off outstanding jobs but I have a suspicion that these outstanding jobs are being invoiced from another company although nothing I can do I find it frustrating that I'm working for £380 a week when it was over £600!

The last question, if its correct that the most I would be able to claim is 8 weeks at £380 what would happen if I left now, would I still get Junes wages and any notice pay?

Sorry for the long post I just can't seem to find anything out

I think this http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/pdfs/gu...remployees.pdf should answer your questions. Limits are currently £380 for a week's pay, yes.
