My wife has just been told that her site (she works for a large global company) is to close at the end of Oct. She is currently on maternity leave and will have been employed continuously for 2 years at the beginning of October.
Does she qualify for full redundancy as when the site officially closes at the end of Oct, she would have worked for 2 years and met the criteria for service?
Also, the rest of the staff are being given an extended redundancy package consisting of a % of salary as a retainer, and also a % bonus based on tasks/targets being met. Obviously my wife will not be at work to be able to reach any targets; would she be entitled to these benefits by default that the other employees are getting?
Any help is appreciated.

Maternity leave counts as continuous service, so yes she will qualify for redundancy pay.
In terms of bonuses, there's no clear cut answer, it depends on all sorts of factors, including whether the bonus is contractual or discretionary, part of normal salary, one-off payments to everyone, or whatever. The following may help. Bonuses and commission payments during maternity leave
