Hi
A few of us who have been "put at risk of redundancy" and the 30-day consultation period ends on 11th June.
Alternative roles have been created, we will know the outcome of the applications for these roles before 11th June. Those who will be unsuccessful, will be made redundant. Those who haven't applied for the roles, will be made redundant by default.
However, there are no concrete dates on when our notice period will start (somewhere between mid July and August).
If everyone is happy and the collective consultation period ends on 11th June, how do I know when I can leave? Can the company tag you along until the knowledge transfer has been made? Once you know you have been made redundant (11th June) should the notice period of 2 months not be issued straight away?
Thanks

When the consultation period ends you should get something in writing confirming the outcome, which should confirm your redundancy if you are being made redundant, and give you a date when your employment will end. Your employer can give more notice than is required in your contract if they are in a position to do that.
