I have just been asked to take a salary cut and offered a new but lower position to avoid redundancy. I've worked for the company for over 9 years.
If I accept the position but my employer then decides to make me redundant at a later date am I still entitled to redundancy pay for the 9 years I have worked for the company or because I have accepted a new position and a new contract does this mean I won't be eligible for 9 years redundancy.
