redundancy question i am currently working for a local council and i"ve been offered redundancy if i take the redundancy and go and work for another council will my pension continue or will i have to start again .?

I would think it will be likely that you can transfer across your pension and carry on, but that's a question for your employer. It depends on the terms of your pension scheme and any specific arrangements they may have when people leace and work for another council.
