    Hi Spylad,

    it sounds like there's been a re-evaluation of the situation within your company and though much distress has been caused by their rash actions actions, the company have every right to withdraw the planned redundancies.

    If you imagine it from the company's point of view, it's more normal for them to be pressurised to save positions which they often do.

    Once a position has been made redundant it can be quite tricky for them to re-create it after people have been forced out, therefore they should be 100% certain before taking such action.
