Hello,
I'm being offered voluntary redundancy. It looks like a pretty attractive offer and I'm tempted. It's more than the statutory entitlement but my employer has said that the fact that I've been part time for the last two years will affect the amount I am to be offered. What is the position with regards part-time workers? I've worked 3.5-4 days per week over this time and full-time before that.
Many thanks,
BRB

Thank you for your question.
Your weekly pay for redundancy pay, would be calculated at the part-time rate. This is because the calculation is based on how much you are earning when you are made redundant.Clara Buckingham
