I have a fixed term contract till 30/03/10. I have been made redundant due to funding being withdrawn from 06/12/09. My redundancy letter says there are new funding possibilities and they will try to offer me continuous employment. On Friday 21/11/09 a new post was advertised for the same job title, same pay scale, same duties and responsibilities as my present job. I have been told I need to apply for the post and be interviewed. Is this correct?
