hi

my wife is being made redundant.

she started maternity leave in dec 2008

she was due to return in dec 2009, and had made a flexible working request, which had been honoured.

it is looking like she will be made redundant during october 2009.

my question is this - she is entitled to 4 months notice, so assuming they would offer her pay in leiu of notice, will they use her old full time salry, or the lower part time one which she would have had after dec 2009 if she had gone back?

any help would be great
