I find myself in a unusual position, some might even say I shouldn't complain.

3 out of the 4 members of my dept are being made redundant, and I will believe there is a very high chance that I will remain. Another colleague and myself have been marked as low risk, but actually both wish to leave. We've had it hinted by our team leader that since they have to keep the most suitable candidate, if both of us requested to be made redundant, they might not be able to satisfy our demands. It's even got to the point where my colleague is willing to pay me to stay, but I am hesitant.

I don't suppose anyone else has been through anything similar?
