Hello,
I work for Fujitsu Services which has recently announced that it will make up to 1,200 staff in the UK redundant. I've been told that I am one of those at risk of redundancy. My redundancy terms are the same as the statutory terms but without a cap on weekly pay. This translates to 20 weeks' pay for nine years' service.
A friend was recently made redundant from Thomson Reuters and he received, approximately, one month's pay for each year of service - rather more generous than what Fujitsu is offering.
So, what I'm wondering is, how do the Fujitsu terms compare to those of other companies (especially those which are 'blue chip' and/or in the IT sector) - either offered or written into contracts?
Grateful for any information which forum members can provide.

My office is closing and the redundancy is basically the same as your friends (months salary per year of employment). From what I am told this is one of the best packages out there (hear horrible things about other companies such as HelpHire etc).
Please share us with friends or colleagues!
